The artist's works are distinguished by genre diversity and technical versatility. Vladimir Garbuz works in the direction of book and easel graphics, painting and sculpture.
The basis of the exposition is landscapes - one of the artist's favorite genres, but these are not pictorial species in the traditional sense. His image is characterized by a variety of expression and color. They seem to break away from the established form and plane, spreading in space, time and perception of the viewer. The author himself calls this
the direction of painting is cosmogonic impressionism.
The bronze sculptures of the artist, which can be seen at the exhibition, are made in an impressionistic manner. Thanks to the plastic language, he successfully conveys the character of the models and the moral depth of the stories.
The artist - the author of graphic series on Shevchenko's themes - illustrations to the "Kobzar", books: "Shevchenko and eternity", "Stitches before St.", "Davidov psalmi", etc.
Vladimir Garbuz was born on December 21, 1951 in the village of Karapyshakh, Myronivsky district of the Kiev region. He graduated from the Department of Book Art of the Ukrainian Polygraphic Institute. I. Fedorov in Lviv. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, multiple nominee and winner of state prizes.
Picturesque and graphic works of the artist are presented in the exposition of many Ukrainian and foreign museums (Australia, Canada, Poland, Slovakia), as well as in private collections.
