November 17, the Art Gallery "Manufaktura" invites to the exhibition of the artist Ruslan Ivashchenko, under the name "Color impressions".
Ruslan Ivashchenko is a follower of the traditions of the European School of Impressionism.
In the exposition of 24 works of the author in classical for Impressionism genres: landscape and still life.
Inheriting the tradition of style, the artist seeks to capture the moment and fleeting emotions from the seen. The wide style of writing, freely placed on canvas, juicy smears give his painting a special mobility. The speed of writing, expression and dynamics create the effect of a living canvas. And the spectators are participants in the action taking place in the picture: they follow a crowd of passers-by, become part of a megapolis living in their chaotic rhythm, feel gust of the wind and the whining of herbs, breathe the aroma of flowers, hear the noise of the sea and the cry of the gulls.
The artist masterly creates images using one or two touches of the brush, deliberately leaving a feeling of easy incompleteness. An important factor in his work is the emotional impact of color. In landscapes he focuses on color and light interactions.
The painter prefers to work on the open air. Pictures created in the open space are transformed by the mobile, all-pervasive light.
Ruslan Ivashchenko was born in Yalta in 1986. He studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. Graduated from the Faculty of Painting. The artist lives and works in Kiev.
