On August 21, the art gallery "Manufactura" invites you to the opening of the exhibition of paintings by Dmitry Chaus "The Shadow of the Queen." 
Dmitry Chaus is a representative of the modern direction of realistic painting. In his work, he turns to the depiction of genre scenes, city landscapes, historical compositions, portraiture. 
The artist's works are like frozen episodes of the life of ordinary, at first glance, people. Be it a dancer or a worker, the artist will give off a spark of talent, happiness, sincerity or willpower in each of them. 
The artist's artistic manner is based on modeling of forms in tone, accuracy of drawing and expressive beauty of subtle, multi-layered painting, which allows creating such light and sublime images. 
The works presented at the exhibition are mainly devoted to women's themes in the work of Dmitry Chaus. The image of an active, feminized woman gives rise to bright and meaningful creative reflection. In the artist's work, one can single out the theme of love and greatness of a woman, whose natural purpose is to be able to love, be loved and, with the help of love, become the continuer of the human race. 
Dmitry Chaus was born in Kharkov (Ukraine) in 1981 into a family of artists. Graduated from the Kharkov Art School with a degree in "designer-designer" (1996-2000) and the Kharkov State Academy of Design and Arts (faculty of easel painting; 2000-2006). Since 2008 - a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine, Master of Arts (KSADI). 2006-2017 - senior teacher of painting and composition at the Kharkiv National Pedagogical University. G. S. Frying pans.2010-2017 - taught painting at teacher training universities and art academies in China. Professor at the Hebei Academy of Arts, Professor at the Sichuan University of the Arts. Awarded the Medal for Special Contribution to the Arts (Shitiazhuang Normal University, China; 2012). 2019 - Member of the Union of Artists of Bratislava (Slovak Republic). Since 2020 - co-founder and deputy chairman of the creative patriotic association "National Palette". The developer of the author's technique of painting a multi-figured composition. Permanent participant of regional, all-Ukrainian, foreign and international exhibitions. The works are kept in the collections of museums and galleries of different countries, as well as replenish the private collections of collectors from China, Poland, USA, France, Germany, Canada, Australia. 
The exhibition of Dmitry Chaus "Queen's Shadow" will continue in the art gallery "Manufactura" from August 21 to October 21.
