An exposition of antiquities of the Ukrainian people from the Museum of Ukrainian Heritage of Viktor Yushchenko has opened in the Manufactura outlet town.
Since ancient times, from the grandfather of the great-grandfather, the Ukrainian people possessed arts and crafts. Almost every Ukrainian was a master, craftsman, artist. Everything created by his hands had both aesthetic and practical qualities. Due to their modest life, Ukrainians have always decorated their life, decorated simply and practically. Everyday things for daily use were decoratively played up as if they had a double meaning.
The symbols of the world created by God were clearly traced in the imprinted ornaments: the sun, the sky, animal husbandry, a bird, flowers, a crop, a tree.
The tree became a special symbol of the family, which was passed on to descendants from generation to generation. Koval passed on his knowledge to blacksmithing, an artisan to handicraft knowledge, a carver to the ability to cut wood, a seamstress to sew and weave, an embroiderer to embroider. This is how the tree of life of the whole people was formed from the family tree.
Versatility, power, richness, the sacred heritage of which you can learn for yourself in an ordinary Ukrainian courtyard, presented in the exposition of textiles in the everyday life of the Ukrainian people from the Museum of Ukrainian Heritage of Viktor Yushchenko.
