Manufaсtura Art Gallery invites art lovers to visit a new sensual project - an exhibition of paintings by Maria Nekrasova "To Be a Grass".
The exposition is based on emotions painted with oil paints. The basis of the artist's creative vision is honesty to personal feelings and frankness in their reproduction on canvas.
"Every event or emotion turns into images that are embodied on canvas. My paintings are my good and bad days, when I am angry and happy, when I am "at the bottom" or in high spirits. All kinds of feelings - both anger and happiness - have their place. The good ones on the canvases become pleasant memories, like the "sound" of a cobweb from childhood, they are pleasing to the eye; the terrible and depressing ones give fuel to creation, melt into themes that remind me of what I managed to do, what I experienced..." - the artist explains.

In the halls of the gallery, the exposition is formed by colors - black, gray, blue, pink, green - which become the best guides for the viewer to the multifaceted world of sensations.
Maria Nekrasova's exhibition "To Be a Grass" will be open to art lovers in July and August 2024 at the Manufactura Art Gallery.
